About Us

Ashburton Air Services was established in 1992 and has over 30 years flying experience. The business has recently made a transition from Onslow to servicing WA from Jandakot & the Great Southern.

The business has a vast amount of experience flying throughout WA and Australia.

Initially Ashburton Air Services served the north west pastoral stations and north west clients increasing their client base to the mining industry, regional shires, FESA, local government and aboriginal agencies, Bristow Helicopters, Chevron, and a variety of private and business clients for charters throughout the state and air work including low level flying, aerial spotting, sea search and rescue & providing scenic flights and charters for tourism.

We are proud to provide our clients with a professional air services with our immaculately maintained single and twin aircraft now based in the great southern.

 

David Forrest as the operator & chief pilot since 1992 continues to maintain the aircraft with Premiair Aviation Maintenance pty ltd to the standards required by Ministry and Cabinet, BHP, Chevron and Aussar with annual audits required to continue the upmost safety standards & quality.

David has a back ground in station management and flying with a broad knowledge base working through out country western Australian fixed wing single, twin & float planes into the major airports and in & out of bush air strips with all weather experience.

 
 
The aircraft and pilots are required to be fully qualified in instrument flying capabilities with a minimum of 1500 hours total time and need to be qualified to meet the necessary client requirements.
